BEATRIX MOL
Jewellery Designer & Maker
Beatrix’s qualifications include a Diploma of Arts Ceramics and further studies in Silversmithing, Colour & Design and Sculpture.
Her original artist journey included painting and wood work where she designed and created unique children’s toys from recycled wood, long before it became an environmental consideration. Whilst studying ceramics she became excited by the jewellery studios in the neighboring building and eventually, after 10 years of working with ceramics, moved on to her longtime passion of jewellery-making in 2004. “Every day is an exciting inspirational adventure; creating things is like breathing for me, it just happens, I don’t have to think about it. A day doesn't go by where I am not creating something; it’s so much a part of who I am. Making unique beautiful jewellery is one of those things that I will want to keep doing forever. I’d like to think some of my pieces will be passed on through the family and worn by generations to come”. Beatrix creates two eclectic ranges of jewellery which range from Timeless classic to an adventurous bespoke Contemporary style, making from scratch and also sourcing unique semi-precious stones and unusual silver beads which she sometimes alters to suit her artistic endeavor in her jewellery. Taking into consideration environmental issues, Beatrix uses recycled silver wherever possible in her work. |
